Our Purpose

The Christian Message

In daily relationships, in the school atmosphere, in our stated and implied teachings, we attempt to bring the Word of God into contact with students and families.

Religious Teachings

Lutheran teachings are the basis for our religious instructional materials. Families from other Christian denominations find that our religion classes, classroom devotions, and chapel services support their efforts to raise strong Christian children. At those points where Lutheran teachings differ from a child’s home church we continue to respect the child while acknowledging those differences.
Training For Life

We are officially recognized by the State of Missouri and accredited by two agencies. Our intention is to train students to be Christian citizens of American society and the world in which we live.

Academics

To benefit our world, and to make full use of God’s gifts to each child, we set high standards of academic work. We provide quality instruction and a low teacher-pupil ratio to help the child meet high standards. We take pride in our students’ success.

The Child First

Although the school serves the needs of society, of parents, and of the congregation, our top priority remains serving the needs of the child. We believe that today’s child needs caring and nurturing relationships, sound academic training, and the spiritual experiences of worship, fellowship, service, and witness. We want to help the child take his or her special place under God in our society.
