| We're eager to begin a year of learning, fun,
and adventure! Subjects taught are Religion, Reading, Language Arts,
Spelling, Dictionary Skills, Handwriting, Math, Science, Social Studies,
Computer, Art, Music, and P.E. Ongoing activities include Reading Buddies in Kindergarten and Pen Pals with the St. Mark's Lutheran School second grade class in Steeleville, Illinois. We use classroom computers for enrichment and review, Prayer Journal, Math, Writing, and Science Centers. Also, our Reading program is enriched through Accelerated Reading and individualized SRA Reading. Plus many of the children went out for cross-country running this year. Yes, it's very diverse because each child is so unique. |
