Daily Activities

Although ESC is intended to provide an environment for children that is less structured than a classroom, the program does follow a daily routine. Activities will usually include games, crafts, active outdoor play or indoor play in our Activity Center.

The older children are offered an opportunity to work on their homework before and after school. Younger children participate in free play, story time and an afternoon quiet time. During quiet time, the children rest on cots while usually watching a movie. For this reason these children are required to bring a small blanket and pillow with them to be kept here.
