Music Program

Music is an important part of school life at OSLS. Each classroom participates in some way in music, and that participation is often centered around the worship of God. 

Optional outside-of-class participation is available through the band and KOOS (Kids Of Our Savior) groups. 

The band program is available to students beginning in the 5th grade. Instruction is provided by the staff of the Lutheran High School Association of St. Louis. 

The KOOS Singers group is open to any student from grades 2-6. 

The KOOS Ringers group is available to student in grades 5-8. The ringers will also rehearse before school. 

Special commitments are asked from the KOOS and band students, and their families, but the required work, sacrifice, self-discipline, and practice bring special rewards.
