A nuisance item is any item which the staff believes is interfering with the safety or learning of students.
Comic books, matches, knives, guns (toys or genuine), radios, and magazines are some examples of nuisances that should
not be brought to school. These items are subject to confiscation. In some cases, additional disciplinary consequences may be
appropriate. An item of obvious monetary value may be returned to the parent when the teacher has received assurance that it
will not reappear at school.
Permission should be given by the teacher before students bring their personal sports equipment, toys, or games to school.
Skateboards, roller blades, or skates should not be brought to school.
