Advance Registration happens during January, when current school families may register any of their children for next fall.
On February 1st, registration opens for all families of the community.
Fees For
2004-2005 The registration and book fees have remained the same as last year. The complete listing of fees, and
a brief explanation of what each fee covers, is found here.
+ The registration fee is due in full at the time of registration.
+ The registration fee is non-refundable, except for unusual circumstances.
The entire book fee is due on March 31st, and is non-refundable.
+ Enrollment is not final until both fees have been paid.
Payment Plans You may choose to spread the annual tuition cost over a twelve month period beginning June 1st, or over a
ten month period beginning August 1st. Your payments should be completed by May 1st,
2005.
Tuition Assistance For Members
A parent who is a member at Our Savior Lutheran Church may apply for a Grant-In-Aid
to help with tuition payments. Contact the school office for a confidential application form. Our Savior takes seriously its hope
that no child of a member family would be denied an education at OSLS for financial reasons.
Before and After School Child Care The Extended School Care (ESC) program will again be available from 6:30 AM until
6:00 PM for our students. Registration forms and an ESC
Parent Handbook for next year will be printed and available later this spring. For now, you may indicate your possible interest in using the program by marking the proper space at the bottom of
the blue registration form. Marking that space now will insure that we send you next year's information as soon as it's available.
Physical Exams are required for kindergarten, 4th grade,
7th grade and all students participating on sports teams. One physical exam
will cover the student for any or all of the sports seasons for the '04-05
year. All students, preschool through grade 8, must meet the state
requirements for immunizations appropriate to their age by the first day
of school.
The Birth date
Deadline We use the same August 1st birthday cut-off for kindergarten and preschool that Missouri
prescribes for its public schools.
Birth
Certificates Preschool, kindergarten and all new students must have
a copy of their birth certificate, in our office before enrollment is
finalized. This copy, which will be kept in the student's permanent
records at school, may be submitted with other registration forms.
Two Emergency Cards Parents need to fill out two identical emergency cards. One card will be kept in the school office
and the other in a secure alternate location. These cards will be
sent home the first day of school and must be returned the next day.
To Register Your Child Now, we need the following items:
1) The blue enrollment form
2) The green commitment form
3) The registration fee
4) A copy of the birth certificate for preschool and kindergarten students
The white medical information form may be turned in now, or as late as mid August.
Please note that these items must be completed and turned in before the child can be admitted to the first day of class.
After we receive your child's registration materials, we'll send you a confirmation that your child is indeed officially registered --
or we'll let you know something is still needed before registration is complete.
Further Information about next year will follow with mailings during the spring and summer.
