Welcome to Paul and Linda Collins’ Vizsla Family! Our home is in St. Charles, Missouri.
We're glad you found our site and hope you visit often. This site will keep you up to date on what Pirok Kennels has been producing.
We have been Vizsla owners since 1966 and breeding selectively since 1970. Throughout the years this wonderful breed has been a very important part of our family and our home has pretty much been conformed for their comfort. We keep in contact with many of our puppy owners and some have become very close friends.
We have moved to various parts of the country, so we were privileged to see the different styles of Vizslas that come from these areas. Though all could fit the standard very well, we are looking to produce as closely as possible to the Vizsla standard. Through the years we have dogs that have been in the field, in obedience, and the show ring, but the main ability we want from our red kids is to be the best companion they can be for their owners.
We love to see our Vizslas do what they were bred to do by working the birds in the field. There’s no way to describe it when our guys know that they're going hunting. We are so thankful for this breed and the people involved for giving us 40 years of excitement and wonder.
OUR GOALS are to continue to produce sound, beautiful Vizslas that typify the breed, not only to produce a good looking dog with which you can hunt but to still have a great companion in the home. Also we hope to educate new people about the breed and their wonderful traits.
Although there are thrills in life with a Vizsla, this dog may not be suited to every home. We will be happy to answer any Vizsla related questions from those thinking of making this dog part of their family.
We do have occasional litters so call us and see if we have any pups available. If not, we may know of a litter for which the owners are looking for homes. Feel free to call and talk with us at any time or email us:
