Advanced Strokes and Maneuvers

The Level II course will help you refine and perfect your strokes and maneuvers. Using discussion, on-water practice, and video analysis we will help you develop the strokes and maneuvers to efficiently control and propel your boat.

These are some of the techniques we will cover:

  • Forward Stroke
  • Sweep Strokes
  • Reverse Strokes
  • Beam and Sculling Draws
  • Sculling for Support
  • Low Brace
  • High Brace
  • Static Brace Turns
  • Bow Rudders
  • Side Slip/Hanging Draw
  • Stern Rudder

Course Length: 8 hours
