No, Lorelei's hand didn't explode. There's a pistol in that cloud of smoke. She's shooting black powder in the Ladies Frontier Cartridge category at Ride for Pancho Villa 2009 at the Plum Creek Carriage and Shooting Society in Lockhart, Texas. She won the Ladies Frontier Cartridge category at this event.
