My Do-It-Yourself ASM-1
project
The ASM-1
circuit was layed out by Gene Stopp and
the ASM-1 front panel was designed by Christopher List. For more
information, look at the archives of the Synth-DIY mailing list.
I have 4 circuit boards, but I've only finished 2 of them. The second
ASM-1 uses a panel design by Ric Miller and myself. It utilizes nearly
all of the inputs of the ASM-1 board. The ASM-1 has 2 VC Oscillators,
1 LFO, State Variable Filter with manual Q and Cut-off, 2 VCAs,
2 ADSR Envelopes, 1 Lag Generator. If you are just starting
to build an ASM-1, check here for some
trouble-shooting tips.
If you were not on Synth-DIY when Gene introduced the ASM-1, check out
my selected archives on the ASM-1 (04/96 to 12/96).

Here are some examples of how the ASM-1 / MOTM /A.R.F combination sounds.
VCO2 -> FM of VCO1, VCO1 and an LFO into A.R.F. Timbre Modulator (696K WAV)
This sound used a single ASM1, with 2 VCOs and an LFO going into the Timbre Modulator.
Here is a picture of my modular rack.
