This is the winch bumper my friend Greg Youens and I put together.
This cute blonde, modeling my bumper and winch, is my friend Amanda. I couldn't get her to look at the camera. The sun is in her eyes.
This is a shot of the bumper before the winch was mounted. It's constructed of 2x4 3/16" steel tubing. The winch plate and all of the brackets are made with 1/4" steel. The front gussets for the clevis rings are 1/2" steel.
This profile shot shows how far back the end piece extends.
This shows the outboard side of the mounting bracket and bracing. Also my winch security feature. It consists of 1x1 tubing with holes drilled for the winch mounting bolts. It's padlocked over the bolts.
