The latest "Toy".

'99 Porsche Boxster.  Black Metallic, Black Leather, Black top, Sports Package, CD player, Power/Memory Heated seats (a must in Houston!!! wink wink grin grin), and a few Hacks.  If you ever wanted to have fun in your daily drives, I mean REAL fun, get one of these.  This has to be the most enjoyment I have ever had driving, even more than with the Speedster.

Here she is with her stable mate, the Speedster.

If you ever have a question about a Boxster, the place to go is Porsche Pete's Boxster Board. Several mods have been made.  Take a look at these "Hacks"

If you are interested in the very best quality and service for your car.  Here is where you need to go:

Tires:  Everyone needs new tires.  Do your research.  There are many many brands out there, and your individual driving habits and preferences dictate what you need to replace your current set with.  The absolute best place to start is Tire Rack.  This is THE on-line store for tires.  You can review styles, warranties, tread wear, ride comfort.....  More than you ever thought was involved in tire selection.  These are the best professionals you will ever find.  I chose Kumho ECSTA 712's.  Excellent tread wear (for a high performance tire), great traction, and looks great.  Don't let the price fool you.  These are very good tires.

Tire Rack ships your tires to you, or a shop to install them.  My suggestion is Discount Tire.  Don't let the name fool you.  These are real professionals.  They do it right, and treat your car like it is theirs.  Do make sure you make an appointment.  It will make an otherwise many hour adventure a relatively painless process.  Make sure, too, you select a shop that has a Hunter 9700 balancer.  Anything else is a waste of money.

Cleaning Supplies:  You have to keep your car clean, don't you?  Want to learn how (a simple sponge, some dish soap, and a water hose ain't it)????  Griot's Garage has everything you need, and even has guides to help explain the art of REALLY getting your car clean.
