It is my belief that the doctrine of eternal suffering is simply not a legitimate element of Christianity, whether it's conservative or progressive. I believe there is simply no support for such a view in the biblical texts. Nor is it consistant with the basic tenants of Christian theology.
Note: there is just no way I can cover this entire subject in the detail it deserves but I will try to give a good base. Therefore there will be three long essays on this and a follow up letter.In addition, if I plagiarized someone I apologize. I've read so much on this I may have inadvertently used others wording.
