THE INDIE BLUES ARTIST'S BEST FRIEND !!!

"Every Day I Have The Blues" is always interested in exposing new and exciting music to our listeners.  In our experience, NOT ALL the best blues comes from the large and medium-sized record labels.  A lot of great blues is produced by artists and bands in the studio on their own dime and distributing their own CDs via CD Baby, at gigs, etc, or working with small, private label publishers.

We've got nothing against the big labels.
But, they simply cannot sign, record and promote every musician who comes along.  But, we know Independents (Indies) are out there Keeping The Blues Alive, usually on their own dime and usually without help from their local radio stations.
That's where we come in.  "Every Day I Have The Blues" is proud to promote Indies on our Internet blues show and our traditional radio affiliate stations. However, it has to be a two-way street.  Here's what we need from you:

1. At least one copy of each CD you want us to promote. Throwing in an extra CD for listener giveaways wouldn't be a bad idea as it allows me to promote you with even more "fervor" and gets my listeners involved.   I don't accept MP3s because most people simply do not know how to make a good MP3 and you deserve the best exposure possible. (You can have copies of the files needed for the show to use as samples on your site, CDBaby.com, MP3.com, etc. Just ask.)
2. An email or a letter stating I have permission to play your album on our Album Hour features
- required by the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA), a law written by the big radio station conglomerates and the record companies to attempt to secure their continued monopoly on the music business and passed by a Congress full of rich food and drink on the industry's dime.  For an example of how we showcase your album when "your Friday" rolls around, CLICK HERE.  Maybe we'll need two album hours soon?
3. A valid URL where listeners can visit your web site and purchase your CD(s)
and other merchandise. You may include a reseller's URL, if you do not have your own web site.  But, if you do have a site, do NOT include a reseller URL; let listeners go to the reseller from your web site.
4. Add a link to http://www.thebluesnet.com to your web site and say nice things about us - that's all we ask in return.
