Sprint

Plan downloaded from JimZ site. Balsa nose cone purchased from BMS. Chrome paint purchased from Wal-Mart. All other supplies purchased from Hobbytown USA.

First flight - Brad's place. Winds about 15mph, gusting to 20 mph. Launched with C5-3. Perfect flight, terrible recovery. I think the engine may have been faulty. We never saw the tracer or ejection charge. Of course it went out of sight, so it is hard to tell what happened. We looked for it but couldn't find it. It rained that night. The next day, Sherri, Brad's wife, found it lying on the ground about 100 yards from the launch site fully intact but rainsoaked. I salvaged the fins and nose cone and those tiny little launch lugs, but haven't rebuilt it, yet.
