Dorothy & Tim Edgar 50th Wedding Anniversary

DOROTHY (Wiltz) AND TIM EDGAR'S 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY  OCT 1999
Pictured with Aunt Peggy (Snell) Williford is her nephew Thomas Jean Griffin, her daughter Jo Evelyn (Wiltz)  or better known as Coonie. This name was given to her while she was staying with her Aunt Jeanita Griffin at the age of 2 to 3 years old.  Jo Evelyn's husband Tom Woolley, and Thelma Griffin.  Peggy was married to Clyde Williford of Warren, Texas.  My memories of Aunt Peggy before the modern conveniences of propane, butane gas or electricity was her cooking over an old wooden stove, which was extremely hot.    Uncle Clyde and Aunt Peggy's back yard was full of persimmon trees.  I think I ate more of the persimmons than all of the opossums in Tyler County, Texas.  I lived to hunt squirrels with Aunt Peggy and Uncle Clyde.  Uncle Clyde died January 1, 1969.  Kevin, my son was born about two weeks before his death.  I was a pallbearer at his funeral.  Their marker can be viewed.  He is buried at the Fellowship Cemetery in Warren.
