I have been a domestic engineer for a number of years (I guess that's what some people call a lady of leisure, but I don't know where the leisure comes in). Before that I worked as a secretary/administrative assistant at Deere & Company, Grandy's, and various other smaller companies. The past 39 years have revolved around my husband, Will Powers, and our son Scott. In my spare time, I find room for personal interests which include ESA (an international service sorority), the TCU Fine Arts Guild, gardening, bowling and watching my hummingbirds.

Buffy The other family member is our constant companion...

Buffy

The Best Dog in the World!

Buffy is 14 (that's 98 in dog years) and her claim to fame is the Concerto in "P". Whenever she needs to go outside (and only then), Buffy plays her toy grand piano! This antique piano has been in use for 3 generations--my parents' dog, Heidi; our last dog, Snowflake; and now, Buffy. She also growls like a lion, but only when she's tugging on a toy. As you can see, she can also get into your heart.




MY MOM

My Mom My mother is on the web!!! She couldn't stand the thought of her family being in touch by email--so off to the computer store--her very first one! That was 6 years ago, and I'm extremely proud of what she has accomplished since then. Way to go, Mom!

My Mom at almost 87 years young has 3 children (and 3 spouses), 6 grandchildren(and 3 spouses) and 4 great-grandchildren (with another on the way) and is proud of every one of of them! I love you, Mom!
