Concept Keys, Inc. is our family E-Publishing company. Please visit the Concept Keys web page for more information. We're really excited about it.

I have been a domestic engineer for a number of years (I guess that's what some people call a lady of leisure, but I don't know where the leisure comes in). Before that I worked as a secretary/administrative assistant at Deere & Company, Grandy's, and various other smaller companies. The past 45 years have revolved around my husband, Will Powers, and our son Scott. In my spare time, I find room for personal interests which include ESA (an international service sorority), the TCU Guild (and organization that gives 7 scholarships to students at TCU in the Colleges of Communication and Fine Arts), gardening, bowling and watching my hummingbirds.

TALFY

The other family member is our constant companion...

Talfy (short for Talferon meaning foot hunter in Elfin).

She is 1 year in November--a Jack Russell Terrier Mix, all black and has lots of energy! She jumps and dances on her back legs and gets into everything--I've forgotten what it's like to have a puppy. At least my kitchen floor stays clean again. We plan to teach her to play the old piano, but some of the keys don't work anymore, so it isn't quite as pretty a tune.

Buffy was almost 19 when we put her to sleep (that's 133 in dog years) and her claim to fame was the Concerto in "P". Whenever she needed to go outside (and only then), she played her toy grand piano! This antique piano has been in use for 4 generations--my parents' dog, Heidi; our dogs, Snowflake and Buffy and hopefully now with Talfy.

MY MOM

My Mom My mother went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 1, 2008 at 91 years young. She was an amazing person! She couldn't stand the thought of her family being in touch by email--so off to the computer store--her very first one! That was at the age of 82

She had 3 children (and 3 spouses), 6 grandchildren(and 5 spouses) and 6 great-grandchildren and was very proud of every one of them! We all loved both you and Dad, Mom!
