::RED LETTER DAY::
Jesus said it, I read it, I declare that it's a Red Letter Day
I'm in the palm of God's hand, Hallelujah, and no man can pluck
me away.
It removed every doubt, when I read all about what He had to say.
His words are in red, when I saw what He said, it was a Red Letter
Day.
All of us wander, we can make a wrong choice.
But in John we are told, once you're in the fold, you'll know (hear)
His sweet voice.
'Cause the sheep know the shepherd, and they want to be led.
They won't be forsaken, there can be no mistaken, it says it right
here in red.
Jesus said it, I read it, don't you see that it's a Red Letter Day.
I'm in the palm of God's hand, Hallelujah, and no man can pluck
me away.
It removed every doubt, when at last I found out all that He had
to say.
His words are in red, when I believed what he said, it was a Red
Letter Day.
I want to do right. But sometimes I go wrong.
And my Father will chide me, His spirit's inside me, I can't stay
in sin for long.
I'm secure in my Savior, He won't let go of me.
Old John heard what He said, and the words are in red, for the whole
world to see.
Jesus said it, I read it, once you get it, it's a Red Letter Day
I'm in the palm of God's hand, Hallelujah, and no man can pluck
me away.
It removed every doubt, when I finally found out, just what He had
to say.
His words are in red, when I saw what He said, it was a Red Letter
Day.
Jesus said it, I read it, don't you get it, it's a Red Letter Day
I'm in the palm of God's hand, Hallelujah, and no man can pluck
me away.
It removed every doubt, when I finally found out, just what He had
to say.
His words are in red, when I believed what He said, it was a Red
Letter Day.
It was written in red, and when His blood was shed, it was a Red
Letter Day.
It was a Red Letter Day!
::HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM::
(Hear
It!)
The gates finally opened in Orlando this morning, but the lines
just weren't that long.
Chicago, O'Hare, flights are delayed, somethin' is terminally wrong.
In Nashville, Tennessee, Music City, they can't find a good, gospel
song.
In Detroit, the assembly lines screech to a halt.
In Ft. Knox they're alarmed, no one's at the vault.
In Congress, they're shouting that those that are gone are at fault.
In Seattle, Washington nobody's sleepin', talk radio's flooded with
calls.
In New York City, Wall Street shudders, the bull market stumbles
and falls.
All across America, houses are empty, the country's climbin' the
walls.
And the voices still echo from earlier days,
That screamed from the pulpit, "You better turn from your ways!"
And from the portals of heaven, you can hear the shouting of praise!
Houston, we have a problem. No one's at the controls.
And out on the coast, where they need it the most, no one's lookin'
out for their souls.
Phoenix, we have a problem. I'm afraid it's worse than we feared.
While most of us slept, the whole bunch of them left, the church
has almost disappeared.
Denver, we have a problem, and the truth can't be ignored.
It's just like they said, they've joined with their dead, God's
church has been restored.
Houston, we have a problem. The saints have left with the Lord.
Houston, we have a problem. I'm afraid our future looks grim.
We've searched all around and the lost can be found, but the others
have gone off with Him.
Boston, we have a problem. And by now, everyone's heard.
I know that we said it was all in their head, but sure enough, God
was true to His word.
Memphis, we have a problem. We should've gotten on board.
They knew He'd arrive & now dead or alive, God's children have claimed
their reward.
But in Heaven, there's not a problem, the saints are there with
the Lord!
::SHAKE, RATTLE, & (FILL
THE) ROLL:: (Hear
It!)
The Sunday School teacher came to the old preacher, admonition on
her breath. She said,
"Your sermon was awfully loud today, pastor and you're scarin' the
young ones to death.
The church should be a resting place, must you preach so hard on
sin?
I've always found if you tone it down, folks will come again and
again."
(The old preacher just smiled...and he turned the other cheek.)
Then a young man shook hands with the old evangelist, suggestion
on his lips.
He said, "I spent some time in the seminary, I could offer you some
tips.
All this talk about the blood of Jesus will run my generation away.
That old hard sell about heaven & hell...just isn't relevant today.
You know pastor, it's out of touch...kind of like that old southern
gospel music!"
(The old preacher decided perhaps he should pontificate his position
for these good people.)
He said, "Some folks preachin' on milk toast. Some folks preachin'
on smiles.
As for me, I keep listenin' to the Holy Ghost, and He keeps sendin'
em down the aisles.
There's empty pages in the Book of Life, so I'm reachin' out for
every lost soul.
You see the purpose in my pulpit, brothers and sisters, is to Shake,
Rattle, and Fill The Roll!
(Let me explain it to ya.)
I'm gonna shake my finger till they get the point, get red in the
face, and yell.
I'm gonna stomp my feet, till I shake the joint, I'm gonna rattle
the gates of hell.
There's time to turn before it's time to burn, someone's gotta let
'em know!
You don't soft sell when they're headed for hell, you Shake, Rattle,
and Fill The Roll!
(Help me, sister)
I'm gonna shake my finger till they get the point, I may even have
a spell.
I'm gonna jump up and down, shake up the joint, I'm gonna rattle
the gates of hell.
There's empty pages in the Book of Life, give me the name of another
lost soul.
Then I'll shake my fist till they're on the list. Shake, Rattle
and Fill The Roll.
There's time to turn before it's time to burn, how you gonna let
'em know?
You gotta rattle the gates, for Heaven sakes, Shake, Rattle, and
Fill The Roll!
I'm gonna kick Slewfoot, and take some names, Shake, Rattle, and
Fill The Roll!"
::GOD'S HEAVEN:: (The Witness
Song)
(Question) I've been pretty good, most of my life, I never said
that I was a Saint.
I don't appreciate you comin' to my door, and this picture that
you're tryin' to paint.
God said to love your neighbor, and your enemy just as well.
Why would a lovin' God send a good ole boy like me to hell?
(Answer)
(Well) It's God's word. And it's God's plan.
And it's God's Heaven. And it doesn't belong to man.
If you're standin' there thinkin', your goodness should get you
in.
It's God's Heaven. Take it up with Him.
(Reply)
My family was in church every time the door opened. Most the time,
I was there, too.
You're askin' me why should God let me into heaven. Maybe I should
be askin' you!
While you're givin' all that money to the church, I'm givin' to
United Way.
While you're spendin' all that time up there, I'm servin' on the
PTA.
(Anwer)
(All I can say is..) It's God's church. You got to understan'.
It's not by works. Though I see you're doin' all you can.
It's great to do a world of good, helpin' out your fellow man.
But it's God's Heaven. That's not his plan.
(Question)
You're tellin' me I need to be a changin' my ways. Is that what
you want me to do.
Well, the fella that lives down the street, around the corner, claims
to be a Christian, too.
I see him in the checkout line at the supercenter, buyin' cigarettes
and beer.
I promise you, I'm as good as that guy, so I don't know what you're
doin' here?
(Answer)
(Maybe I wasn't clear) It's God's word. It's God's plan.
It's God's grace. And that's all that'll get you in.
You can always find a bad example, but it won't wipe away your sin.
It's God's heaven. You gotta go through Him.
(Let's try this again) It's God's word. And it's God's plan.
It's God's heaven. And it doesn't belong to man.
If you're thinkin' that somebody else, is gettin' by with their
sin.
It's God's heaven. Think again.
If you're standin' there wonderin', "Why should he let me in."
When you get to (God's) heaven. Take it up with Him.
::CAN'T TAKE MY JOY AWAY::
(Hear
It!)
They're tryin' to entrap me.
The extra ordinary, well-intentioned, legalistic, sit there on the
sidelines,
Less than helpful people, waitin' there to point their fingers at
me.
If I don't live my life exactly like they think I should.
And why they even think that I would? (Can't take it. Can't take
it.)
They're tryin' to distract me.
All those wordly minded busy bodies out there justifying all their
outrageous behavior
By denying the existence of my Savior.
They want to prove a point that doesn't mean a blessed thing.
They hope I'll throw my towel in the ring. (Can't take it. Can't
take it.)
Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy!
(Oh, boy) Let them lie and cheat and steal from me all day.
Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy away.
Let 'em say what they wanna say. Can't take it!
They're tryin' to attack me.
The evil-talking, flesh-defiling, God mocking, hard-to-swallow,
self seeking,
Hoping that I follow them fools.
They're always wanting to change the rules and then when I refuse
to play their games,
They stoop to callin' me names. (Can't take it. Can't take it.)
They're all around me.
The fault finding simple minded spirit lacking conscious swaying,
Don't know what they're asking, don't hear what I'm saying,
It's like I bug them to death. I'm tryin' to bug them to life, am
I just wastin' my breath?
Am I just wasting my time? (Can't take it. Can't take it.)
Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy!
(Oh, boy) Let them lie and cheat and steal from me all day.
Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy away.
Let 'em say what they wanna say. Can't take my joy away.
Can't take my joy.
Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy!
Let them lie and cheat and steal from me all day.
Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy away.
Let 'em say what they wanna say.
Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy away. Can't take my joy!!!
::SHO SH'D SHO::
(Hear
It!)
It sho sh'd sho, if you're a child of the Father.
It sho sh'd sho, if it doesn't, you know it oughta.
Well, He came to earth with one thing to do, to change your life,
to make you brand new, so
If Jesus is Who you know, it sho sh'd sho.
You can hide a bull in hides of wool, but it's hard to hide the
horns.
And you won't find pears among the snares, or grapes among the thorns.
Cause you know Who sent ya & He doesn't intend for you to languish
in the field.
So check your branches cuz brother can't you see you need to show
a little yield.
It sho sh'd sho, if you're a child of the Father.
It sho sh'd sho, if it doesn't, you know it oughta.
When you're livin' in a world of opinion, they cut you open just
to see what's in ya so
If Jesus is Who you know, it sho sh'd sho.
Well the curtain's drawn, and the lights are on, and you musn't
miss your cue.
Tho' sometimes the stage, can feel like a cage, when the world is
watchin' you.
But when they read yo' cover you want 'em to discover what yo' story
is.
So when they check you out there can be no doubt, you must be one
of His.
It sho sh'd sho, if you drank from the living water.
It sho sh'd sho, if it doesn't, it really oughta.
When you claim the gift of His redemption, everything you do will
bring attention to you but if
Jesus is Who you know, it sho sh'd sho. It sho sh'd sho, if it's
grace you're living under.
It sho sh'd sho, if it doesn't, should you wonder?
When you tell the world what He commanded they'll hold you to a
much higher standard
But if Jesus is Who you know, it sho sh'd sho.
No one wants to be reprimanded but those around you have to understand
It's not what, but
Who you know, and it sho sh'd sho.
Will they see a bushel or a glow, cuz it sho sh'd sho.
::SERVANT'S PRAYER::
Use me, Lord. Don't let me waste away.
The fields are white with harvest. Work me, Lord, today.
I count my many blessings, Lord, by the ones I give away.
Work me, Lord, use me more I pray.
Help me, Lord, to grow more like You each day.
Lift my fallen branches. Prune me, Lord, I pray.
The locust have devoured the years, please restore my days.
Prune me, Lord, use me more I pray.
Sift me, Lord, 'til only wheat remains.
Burn the chaff within me, soothe my growing pains.
The trials You allow me, Lord, refine me more each day.
Soothe me, Lord, use me more I pray.
Lift me Lord, Sift me Lord.
Choose me Lord, Use me more.
Change me, Lord. Don't let me stay this way.
You are the Master sculptor. Mold me, Lord, today.
Make me in Your image, Lord, feel free to chip away.
Change me, Lord. Use me more, I pray.
Hear me, Lord. Let me sound the way.
I want to be Your instrument. Tune me, Lord, today. Take me in Your
mighty hands.
I want to hear You play. Tune me, Lord. Use me more I pray.
The wind and sea obey Your voice. Why can't I behave?
Change me, Lord. Use me more I pray.
Choose me, Lord. Use me more I pray.
::GOD'S SHOW::
Back in old Sodom, They weren't doin' nothin' wrong.
Just an 'alternate lifestyle', They said, "God, leave us alone"
(They) Got Brimstone for breakfast; guess His answer was, "No!"
It's God's Show. (Yes, it is!)
He gave the order, Old Jonah ignored.
God stirred up the water. Jonah went overboard.
Guess somethin' the fish said convinced him to go. It's God's Show.
(Don't you know?)
His agenda's not hidden. This ain't nothin' new.
He's told us, and told us, and told us, and told us what we're s'posed
to do.
Some point in your life, He'll make sure you know. It's God's Show.
Old Pharoah was sure, he was in charge,
Death knocked on his door, And he wasn't so large.
He got hold of Moses, Said, "Take your people and go."
It's God's Show.
He'll send you an angel, Maybe darkness & hail,
He'll send you frogs, flies, locusts & lice and all kinds of junk
mail.
He'll prove His point, He'll let the world know, It's God's Show.
(solo)
The King fired up the furnace, So those Jew boys would learn.
He charcoaled his soldiers, But the boys were 'too cool' to burn.
When you take Jesus with you, the flames cannot go.
It's God's Show.
He can't take off your chains, 'til He puts you in jail.
Can't get you out of your comfort zone 'til your..deep in..whale.
He'll do what He has to, cause He's in control. It's God's Show.
(That's why) He sent the messengers.
(S'Why He) Gave us the law.
Then He showed up for questions, And answered 'em all.
He Conquered the grave. Completed his role. (To let us all know).
It's God's Show.
At least once in your life, He'll make sure you know, It's God's
::BUCKLE UP IN THE BIBLE
BELT::
See here Saints. We've let the Sword of the Spirit slip away.
We got to open God's word, then gird ourselves with what it has
to say.
Put on the whole armor of God today. Buckle up and kneel down to
pray.
Let's Buckle Up In The Bible Belt. Quit leavin' it up to everyone
else.
Do the things that the Bible tell us, it's our responsibility and
not someone else's.
It's been too long since God's people have knelt. It's been too
long since God's spirit's been felt.
God's waitin' to reveal Himself, if we'll just Buckle Up In The
Bible Belt.
We felt so bad, always breakin' the rules, we tried to legalize
it all.
We hid it in the church, took it from the schools, now we can't
explain our nation's rise and fall.
It's time to..Stand in the gap, with your armor in place.
We've got to..fall on our knees, and seek His face.
Let's Buckle Up In The Bible Belt. Quit leavin' it up to everyone
else.
Do the things that the Bible tell us, it's our responsibility and
not someone else's.
It's been too long since God's people have knelt. It's been too
long since God's spirit's been felt.
God's waitin' to reveal Himself, if we'll just Buckle Up In The
Bible Belt.
We see ourselves in the reflection of the world, and we smile so
good.
We're busy pickin' up specks of sand, meanwhile we're trippin' over
piles o' wood.
We pick and choose when we start to compare, when we should see
ourselves in the mirror of prayer.
Let's Buckle Up In The Bible Belt. Quit leavin' it up to everyone
else.
Do the things that the Bible tell us, it's our responsibility and
not someone else's.
It's been too long since God's people have knelt. It's been too
long since God's spirit's been felt.
God's waitin' to reveal Himself, if we just Buckle Up In The Bible
Belt.
(Are you ready to stand with me church?
Are you ready to strap on the armor of God?
Are you ready to buckle up?)
We'll buckle up in the Bible Belt.
We won't leave it up to everyone else.
We'll do the things that the Bible tells us. It's our turn to step
up, and not someone elses.
We commit ourselves to humbly kneel. Bless our land Lord, it's time
to heal.
Please God, won't you reveal yourself. Start right here, in the
Bible Belt.
We know we cannot do it by ourselves. Please show up in the Bible
Belt.
We'll buckle up in the Bible Belt. Let's buckle up in the Bible
Belt!
::OKLAHOMA HERITAGE::
OOOOOOklahoma's where we're from! We sing about a heritage,
that started long ago.
And some feel it's unmerited, but there's so much they don't know,
Like the pride of Dragoon garrison, how 'Long Knives' pioneered.
They just remember Harrison, how the 'Boomers' just appeared.
They don't know why we sing. (It's just hard to explain some things).
We sing about a heritage, that was formed in early years,
Through ravaged lives and marriages that survived the Trail Of Tears.
And they called the Indians savages, and concocted Okie names.
Did all they could to disparage us, with their literary games.
They didn't see how we could sing. (We were taught to give thanks
in everything.)
Our Oklahoma Heritage, meant barely gettin' by,
When our land became a sacrilege, to a hope that wouldn't die.
And it joined the list of enemies, as drought dried up the field.
We squeezed lifeblood from the turnip leaves, when it's all the
ground would yield.
We had to roll up our sleeves. (And it drove us to our knees.)
Our Oklahoma Heritage was passed down through the years.
It was more than horse & carriages, that began before their peers.
It was fortunes thought unspendable that dried up like Sooner soil,
And lives that seemed unmendable, resurrected from the oil.
And the pride within us rings. (And that's why the heritage within
us sings about...)
Our Oklahoma Heritage meant never givin' in.
Past victories encourage us, we can always build again.
You've got to look behind ya, just to see how far you've come.
And in Okla-home-sweet-home-a, we're proud of where we're from.
Let me hear you, everyone! OOOOOOklahoma's where we're from!
That's where we're from! Our Oklahoma Heritage. Our Oklahoma Heritage.
