Day 1, Wednesday, July 9, 2008 – 175 miles
After work, I headed home to pack my clothes and load the bike and trailer. My wife, Cathy, was already packed so I was holding things up.
The bike was in the garage, so we rolled it out and put the stuff
in the drive. There was too much!
We cut it back and finally got down to the “necessities”. (Of course, this is
minus the stuff we forgot.)
This is Cathy giving the Starlight trailer lid a final close!
We are ready to roll! OK, there isn’t really much to tell.
It was 175 mile down the Kansas Turnpike to the KOA in Salina for our first
night.
