October 1999 Newsletter

The match for the month of October 1999 will be held on Sunday, October 10th, 1999 with a 9:30 AM signup and a 10 AM walk through. The match directors for the month of October will be the combined effort of Jerry and Mark Quisenberry.
Our thanks to Chuck, Tom and Al for the August match. The turnout was small due to the rain, however, we are looking foward to better weather next month.

The newsletter will be both mailed out and placed on the Internet. We have a web site which has been set up... remember... If you do not wish to receive the mailed copy of the newsletter please advise Chuck Smith that you have Internet Access.
The results should be posted on Sunday evening or on Monday following the match and the Newsletter will be mailed approximately the first of each month.

Chitwood (chef) will be cooking venison and
hamburgers... If you remember last year? Tom's hamburgers were
excellent ... everybody had a hardy appetite.
You may have heard that the State Open Match scheduled for September was cancelled. A new Open match has been scheduled for October 31st, 1999. This will consist of approximately 8 states and 200 rounds. Packets for the entry form should be forthcoming.
This match is set for Temple, Oklahoma which is southeast of Lawton. This will be a one day format. The cost for this match is $30. There will be no prize table, however, plaques will be awarded at this match.

Danny Horschler will be the Match Director and it will be on his shooting range. Remember... bring your own food and drinks as none will be provided.
Match plaques for September will be handed out.

Match Director for the month of December 1999 will be Dale Morey.
Looking foward to a good turnout - bring a friend to enjoy the match and some extra good venison burgers cooked by "Chef Tom Chitwood".
